Lorenzo Bivans is a Director at Frost Law, where he advises business owners on transactional and tax planning matters. He provides strategic guidance for mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, and the formation and restructuring of business entities, integrating both legal and tax considerations. With a background that includes in-house counsel roles in the energy and defense industries, he has extensive experience in federal, state, and local tax planning, including renewable energy credits and other tax incentives.
He actively tracks legislative and regulatory developments to provide clients with forward-looking advice. Admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia, Lorenzo is a member of several bar associations and serves on the Boards of Directors for Maryland Legal Aid and the Maryland Center for Legal Assistance. His practical, results-driven approach helps clients navigate the complexities of business transactions, growth, and strategic planning.
